LIVElight is a small hand held light that contains hundreds of malleable flat strips embedded with Matericoelenterazine DNA. The Bioluminescent strips can be manipulated to produce target lighting, task lighting and general lighting.
Bioluminescent lighting harnesses the natural glow of Matericoelenterazine enzymes. Scientist have created a soy based liquid containing the DNA of Matericoelenterazine enzymes that emits an intense glow at night and a moderate glow during the day. This Soy liquid can then be embedded into any surface.
Light Exposure Covers manipulate the intensity and direction of light. The Light Exposure Covers run on a track, attached to the Light Exposure Covers are the glowing bioluminescent strips. The light turns on when the Light Exposure Covers are pushed around the track to reveal the bioluminescent strips.
Locking connecting strips allow for multiple LIVE lights to connect, for community lighting. No energy or resources are consumed during the use of LIVE light. The whole product weighs approximately 230g. The LIVE light is designed for disassembly.
